Lagoon Elimination

and

Deodorization

The process of deodorization and elimination of lagoons is relatively inexpensive – at a cost per gallon, amortized over three (3) years, of $0.001.

Flushwater coming from the barns is injected with a high volume of Ozone (O3). This is then routed to the lagoon(s). It should be injected at least two feet below the surface for best results.

Liquid is then pumped from the lagoon, Ozonated, then sent to the Separators (see photos) for separation.

Solids should be placed on a holding pad with effluent directed to the lagoons. Solids are ready for immediate, safe, use on edible crops.

Liquid is again Ozonated and sent to barn floor for reuse as flushwater.

If desired, part of the reclaimed liquid can be directed to existing sprayfields. The highly oxygenated liquid will speed up elimination of pathogens in the soil.

If desired, part of the liquid can be filtered to 2 microns and blended with potable water.

Cost, for a system operating at 150 gallons per minute, plus shipping and installation:

              $34,314.70

Costs are as of 28 March 2007.
