The important thing is to keep asking questions.

Hog Farms without pollution

True. And proven. And cost-effective.

There are three phases to a non-polluting hog farm:

            Purification of flush water

            Feed water (Drinking Water) Remediation

            Barn Atmosphere Remediation

Lagoon and Spray field Elimination

Oversimplified, the procedure for retrofitting a Pull Plug site consists of intercepting barn flush water, injecting a carefully calculated amount of Ozone at the proper point, routing through a surge tank to match Separator capabilities, separating solids and liquids.

Solids are ready for immediate use on crops. They are biologically clean – no pathogens – yet contain nutrients which will activate upon contact with microorganisms in the ground.

Liquids are routed back for use as flush water.

Some liquid can be filtered to 1.0 microns, blended with source water and used as drinking water for animals and humans.

There will be no excess liquid. Only 90% - 95% of liquid is extracted since mammalian excrement encapsulates liquids and nutrients, releasing over a period of time. Another advantage to manure-based fertilizers.

When used to pressure wash buildings, Ozonated water will assist in eliminating any contaminants on walls, ceilings and floors.

Highly active flush water will eliminate buildup of colonies of viruses, bacteria, molds and fungi in the flush system and on barn floors.

New sites will have no lagoon, settling pond, spray field.

Retrofitting Deep Pit sites is a bit more complicated, depending on the number of barns, amount of slurry under each barn floor. Contact us for information.

We will post information on installations granting us permission to do so.
